Well, I finally opened my PS3. There was a half pound of dust but, after I got it all back together, it still doesn’t play discs. Bad.

(The PS3 is the house media server, dvd/blu-ray/cd player, and we even play games once in a while. So, this is a pain for all of us.)

I think I got might have got him sick 🙁 RT @NurseTerra: Just put wesley to bed and it sounds like he’s cussing me out between sobs

Uuunnnggghhh…sick. @nurseterra thinks stomach flu – she sometimes brings stuff home from work 😛 Cancelled last night’s slumber party.

Right now, laying on the couch, loving this blanket. But thinking about all that needs to get done and how behind I already am. Sick sucks.

More snow. Oh good.

I have now made 3 piccolo lattes this morning (BZZZZ!) and they are looking successively worse! Yummy, but ugly. Sigh. Housework time.

Well, i’m not gonna make them and not drink them. Practicing coffee-making techniques is best with people around to drink them.

Time to make the donuts…

Thursdays SO suck. They work her until 10 on wed night (and then keep her late!) and then 6a on thurs! She got home nearly 1130 last night.

the only night club in town is suddenly closing – there will be a lot of bored, restless people/soldiers from now on http://bit.ly/74lCs9

Ok! Now that I have proper beans/tamper(/machine), I am getting great results! Still need practice to refine and perfect. Pics eventually.

If my phone cam had macro mode (maybe an attachable lens thingy?), i’d be posting a pic every time I pull a shot.

for my newer followers, herein are a few pics of some of my more photogenic drinks of the past: http://bit.ly/5hlDp6

Me espresso pulls are getting fairly consistent but until I can replace this stock steam wand, I still mostly get not-quite-micro foam.

It’s a single-hole steam wand, but i’m surprisingly able to vortex enough – the real problem is in the stretching phase. Probably my fault.

@kirkcrawford i’m pretty sure there is a global setting to block those re-tweets. Probably quicker than unfollowing individuals.

@kirkcrawford seems i was wrong, my bad. though, the list of ppl you follow has the square-arrows-in-green-circle to block RT’s per person.

A coffee (latte) I made today http://flic.kr/p/7tQs4f

The Coffee Bar – my view http://flic.kr/p/7tQD7W

97 seconds of amazing sphere manipulation (+pop&lock(??!)). http://tinyurl.com/y8aax9k i was never that original 🙁

btw, i got my new phone batt – so, i can restart my endless stream of minutiae in text, pics, and vids again 😛

two gorgeous Cortados http://flic.kr/p/4SZjoq & http://flic.kr/p/7saxaw mine never looked like that! i’m totally inspired.

It’s been so long i’ve had phone batt issues, I had forgotten what it’s like to still have 3 bars (of 4) after 6 hours off the charger 🙂

Cooking dinner, kinda’ liked the song on the (internet) radio, looked over and it says it’s Miley Cyrus!! I have officially hit bottom.

Customs deceived, kreteks received! In your face, space coyote!! now, need my coffee beans to arrive and life will be perfect 😛

Ahhhh, my coffee beans and tamper are here! 🙂 the tamper is cheap, but fits the portafilter and my hand, whew. Will get a nice one later.

Experimenting with buttermilk pecan chicken.

My phone won’t work unless on the charger – hence the silence from me lately (Twitter/Facebook). I have a new battery on the way.

Just dug up a photo of my first "espresso maker" – a Salton steam toy, rotary blade grinder, and a bag of SBC beans. It says July ’96!!

Just to clarify, I didn’t get truly serious about coffee as a hobby until some time after the ex and I moved to ABQ – maybe fall of ’04?
