I always think of clever band names – it’s a not-so-good running joke with me and it just occured to me i should start twittering them…

#funnybandname The Shaggy Packages, The Backflipping Monkeys, The Elderly Flamers

We are finally childless (his daddy delayed us), too late for cruces so we’re just gonna go to a couple shops in ruidoso – new kitchen toys!

I am convinced that God is loving and merciful but the unbearable heat on a day like this can cause even a guy like me to have doubts 😛

Ruidoso – hit the gourmet shop, got some overpriced syrups – now the kitchen shop…

Got new bar stuff – a little grater (for fresh garnishes) and a strainer (like to strain pulp from a drink) – both replace inferior items 🙂

Oh, and some stainless steel straws – very cool 🙂

Ooook, we are now in line for the buffet at Inn of the Mountain Gods… It smells like a real casino in here… /former Vegas resident

RT: @drivers99: Focus on WHY you CHOOSE to do what you do. Not what you have to do and what will happen if you don’t.

How odd… The music softly playing from the speaker above my head is some kind of thumping gangsta stuff…

They have a unisex restroom at Inn of the Mountain Gods… How very progressive… Makes me think of BSG… And Ally McBeal…

Torani syrups added to the bar today: Almond Roca, White Chocolate, English Toffee, and @nurseterra wanted to try the Tiramisu.. Big yums 🙂

Starting slumber party night with short iced lattes and Dr. Demento from April 19, 1998…

tonight’s slumber party night junk food movie – and boy are we running late – is a double feature of Waxwork and Waxwork 2 – Lost In Time…

Aaalllright, change of plan, too late for a double feature – gonna’ do 1982’s The Beastmaster instead.. Haven’t seen it since we were kids..

so, it looks like #thespeedgamers are simultaneously playing 10 and 11… just a few hours left 🙁 still not yet to $50k donations

If i had a REALLY long usb cable, i would totally stick a webcam right above my bar and broadcast a "Christopher’s Candlelit Coffee Bar Cam"

@Jaeckle yeah, i’d sorta’ considered that but hadn’t bothered to look at cost as i assume it would not be cheap…

OR get a really cheap used laptop and put it at the bar and just use it for the cam, recipe database, drinks slideshow, etc…. Ahhh…

Odd.. I have come across 2 people i know i was following but it says i’m not – big spammer cleanout yesterday had unexpected side effect?

#thespeedgamers the rather cool video stream arrangement they have – i wish they had done it this way all along… http://flic.kr/p/6HyLoZ

Kewl – #thespeedgamers, with only five hours to go, are now playing 10, 11, and 4 all at the same time… For charity… Home stretch!

If i could somehow bilocate, i would totally try to cut my own hair…

Discussing with @nurseterra moving slumber party night back to fridays for a variety of reasons… Not starting tonight, though…

*sniff* #thespeedgamers are signing off… (hey didn’t get to XII, d’oh!) (i keep meaning to start playing that again…)

Is just hiding under my bed and screaming for awhile an option? No, i guess not. Murder? Suicide? Nope and nope. Well, back to it then…

I seem to be in a cooking slump 🙁 everything fell apart when her schedule changed and i stopped doing the 3-hour-prep candlelit dinners…

Tried the Dissidia demo while dinner was baking… Meh, it didn’t exceed my expectations… I’m not much for fighting games…

So. Sick. Of. Rain.

Video Gamers Hold Marathon Session For Charity – cbs11tv.com http://tinyurl.com/l3xqy6

I uploaded a YouTube video — Wesley excitedly watching thespeedgamers.com Final Fantasy marathon and… http://bit.ly/vHXHO

Feelin’ the urge – Gonna spend the rest of the evening playing Final Fantasy IX with @nurseterra… Not for charity, though 😛

Proverbs 21:25 The desire of the sluggard puts him to death, for his hands refuse to work. //Lord, help me overcome foolish desires…

Forgot to make french press this am so no iced coffee when she gets off today, iced latte will have to do 😛 hmmm, what to make for dinner?

So unmotivated – think it’s the gloomy weather… Cleaning house, listening to this awesome solo classical piano internet station i found…

heh, while the living room ‘puter is playing both NASATV and #thespeedgamers Final Fantasy marathon.. what? i don’t want to miss anything!

@Jaeckle well, it doesn’t make viewing videos possible, if that’s what you mean – the most popular use is flash games which i’ve never tried

@Jaeckle note: i run official firmware… if a hacked psp can do more flash tricks, i wouldn’t know about it…

@Jaeckle i see psp’ers talk about using yim&aim but i just went to the flash yim and it wouldn’t load – don’t think psp flash is up to 9…

@Jaeckle went to a psp portal and clicked IM and it takes me to a mobile ebuddy.com interface with what looks like access to all popular IMs

#thespeedgamers just finished disc 1 of FF7, took about 13 hours (noticed they’re playing it on a PS2)… and there is a news crew otw…

Video of these guys doing a final fantasy play-every-game-in-a-week marathon (thespeedgamers.com) REALLY makes me wanna play some FF 🙁

Ooers, the thespeedgamers.com guys are doing final fantasy 7 next… But still awhile to go on FF3…

Can’t stop watching this final fantasy marathon, haven’t gotten a thing done 🙁 but for some reason the chat won’t connect all day…

so the final fantasy marathon is getting some real news coverage today – they got ten times more viewers than ever and it all just crashed

They just kept flooding in all day and right before it hit 20,000 viewers, the stream stopped and their domain is now unreachable – yikes…

Aaaand, they’re back… Good for them – they’ve raised like $17k for charity already and are going through friday – their goal is $20k…

(what makes this is all so amusing is that this is all being broadcast from some dude’s bedroom! http://thespeedgamers.com )

On the patio at Dolce Vita with my PSP, sipping an iced blanco mocha latte, nibbling a cold cinnamon roll… Ahhhh 🙂

Had allowed myself to forget how impossible the psp screen is to see outdoors, grrrrrr…

At Dolce Vita, PSP’ing with @Thorobredz…

This is, without a doubt, the most unusual and probably best slumber party night ever… Erm, i hope we remember it in the morning…

Um, wow, just as the credits were rolling, the power just went out…

live video of a for-charity play-through of all the final fantasy games in one week (???!!) TheSpeedGamers.com http://tinyurl.com/7krchl

The werewolf put on a werewolf costume but it didn’t scare me because i knew it was only a costume – it isn’t time for the change yet…

So, we’re out getting stuff for slumber party night… Probably gonna watch either The Beastmaster or The Sword and The Sorcerer…

Getting a box o’ tacos for slumber party night dinner… Still can’t decide which movie – think i feel a double feature coming on 🙂

1 parts each Frangelico + Bushmill’s 10-year-old Irish Malt Whiskey + half&half + stir with ice, strain into chilled martini glass = YUM!!

Did a dark choc inner-rim and it does a lovely cascading thing down the insides – may have to take a pic.. My phone cam sucks for close-ups

ok, here’s a quick photo: unnamed creamy hazelnut irish whiskey drink http://flic.kr/p/6FXGXf

K, tonight’s spn junk food movie is 1982’s The Sword and the The Sorcerer, haven’t seen it since i was a kid, she’s never seen it…

Really thinking next week should be a double feature of Waxwork and Waxwork II… Great slumber party night choice 😛

Proverbs 17:9 Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends. //Lord, help me to forgive, EVERY time…

So, just when i am getting a handle on the new schedule, there are rumors that they are switching @nurseterra back to 12 hour days, grrr…

@Thorobredz and his kids in my sitting room http://flic.kr/p/6FnGph

Dayim!! Hella’ sonic booms rattling this poor house… Three so far in as many minutes…

Myst is now available for download to PSP on the playstation store… How cool is that?

Screwing around again with the search feature on my site – why do i even bother? nothing i ever do makes it work right…

I’m open to suggestions for the best search engine for a #wordpress blog… Want at least: excerpts, highlighting, reverse chrono results..

Screwing around again with the search feature on my site – why do i even bother? nothing i ever do makes it work right…

I uploaded a YouTube video — Stasis (no audio) http://bit.ly/79SKR

video of probably the coolest trick i used to do — http://tinyurl.com/mr4nch (this is sorta’ for megan – she’s why i thought of it)
