This is the 3rd year that I can’t find a ‘net radio xmas station I like better then SomaFM’s – great balance of solemn/whimsical, old/new.

Upon closer reading of the delivery status of my Gaggia on the UPS site, I have concluded it won’t be delivered until the 22nd after all 🙁

Found a torrent of a bunch of tv xmas specials (rudolph, frosty, charlie brown, etc.) – may do those for slumber party night tomorrow 🙂

.@RageWritter Withnail & I (1987) is a cult classic sad/funny druggie movie. Rush (1991) is a slow but very emotional drug addiction movie.

My espresso machine is in abq already! I guess I won’t be having to wait until the 22nd after all! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

WTF?? A major sonic boom of some kind that shook the house for almost a full second! And I swear i’ve heard a couple small ones since.

Eep! Final Fantasy VIII just hit PSN!!!!

5 years ago today, I disposed of all my drugs, ending over a decade of life-ruining addictions. And 2 years ago today, I watched my dad die.

DAYIM!! Just saw a very cool shooting star in daylight!

A brand news Gaggia Classic will be arriving here (from wholelattelove.com) in a week – my first REAL espresso machine 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

New kitty with sharp claws, unattended for a few minutes + my beloved leather couch = language not fit to print. (Even on the internet!)

On the other hand, it’s getting late and I still had no idea what I was making for dinner tonight! I do now…

After hundreds of times pouting "why don’t we have a kitty? 🙁 ", it is a total delight to watch this adorable fluffy thing poke around.

Kitty is like a search engine spidering the entire house – he will know where every little thing is. If only we could wire in an interface.

@livin4hymn @nurseterra says dental pain is a valid reason to go to hospital ER, prob give her something for the night. and a bill 🙁

Rescuing him for one last Christmas present for Terra http://flic.kr/p/7nDZEC

Kitty likes the sink, I took a pic. RT @NurseTerra: We couldn’t resist we had to pick him up today http://flic.kr/p/7nH7XY

Terra and her new kitty 🙂 http://flic.kr/p/7nEcSp

Riding along with @nurseterra on visits in Cloudcroft, watching Primer on my PSP – this movie SO holds up to many many viewings.

Congratulations!! RT @jennawilde: I am officially MARRIED!

Snuggled under a blanket on the couch with Reese’s Cookies, cream soda, and 1985’s Better Off Dead – it’s a christmas slumber party night 🙂

Finding tempting deals on a Gaggia Baby Class. Concerned about the short steam wand,, but otherwise, it sounds great.

Added a new present for @nurseterra under the tree – little muffled sounds coming from it – sounds a kinda’ like "kupo! kupo!" … weird.

Our Christmas is so pretty 🙂 http://flic.kr/p/7nbp1G

I have really and truly decided – the Gaggia Classic. It’s ugly but can last years if cared for and has decades-long reputation for quality.

(The Baby Class just has a couple unforgivable shortcomings. Neither excel at steam, though, and that’s not a good thing, but still.)

Since this is 3rd xmas all together and i’ve shot lotsa video every year, we’ve decided we’ll watch all those vids while we eat xmas dinner.

.@don_rivers that’s my neck of the woods – any idea what’s up?

RT @don_rivers: Haven’t seen this before. Police roadblock on Indian Wells, Eastbound between White Sands Blvd and Florida Ave #alamogordo

Poor @nurseterra has to work xmas eve, so she is going to miss out on my brother’s family opening their presents via our LR-to-LR video link

The PS3s allow us to have a window into each other’s living rooms so mom can watch her grandkids in Vegas open their presents 🙂

here’s a short phonecam vid from last year’s livingroom-to-livingroom live PS3 video xmas thing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxIecFKIEuI
