I think i’ll have no choice but to build a pressure gauge, this Gaggia is clearly set way over 9 bars, shots are foamy no matter what I do.
Btw, I know how to neither build a gauge nor adjust an opv but I hear neither is excessively complicated.
These beans do clearly need a bit more rest but there is a foaminess no matter what beans i’ve used that dissolves, leaving actual crema. -

We need some time out/unplugged – headed for Ruidoso, gonna go to the little kitchen/bar shop up there and maybe one or two other stops.
Sigh. What I would not give for a disc golf course here in Alamogordo. Cloudcroft and Ruidoso will be too wintery for quite awhile still. -

68 degrees at 9am. It’s still february. Maybe my calendar’s broke – clearly either it or the weather needs a firmware patch or something.
Either way, I opened a bunch of windows. Get the stale winter air out of the house. Now if only there were a proper breeze.
Ronna & Jennifer: I’d gladly trade – I’m not ready for cold weather to end, summers last WAY too long here. (and I love coat pockets 🙂 )
Grrr, out of milk, no afternoon latte for me – guess i’ll make an americano. Maybe if I add cream and close my eyes, it’ll be close.
Starting morns lately blasting Bad Romance by Lady Gaga. And I’ve been referring to my Gaggia espresso machine as "Lady Gaggia". Send help.
(btw, Gaggia is pronounced GAH-zha.)
I applied a fix for my site lifestream AND our coffee beans shipment arrived within ten minutes of each other. This day is getting better 🙂

Netflix came back online 🙂 So, tonight’s slumber party movie: Spice World. That’s right, the Spice Girls movie. And Ben & Jerry’s.

Spent the morn so far trying to improve my homepage’s site search – i’ve always hated it but I think it’s a little better now.
Finding that it takes an avg 7mins (incl. cleanup) to make a proper drink at my coffee bar. Hm. Hey, each one is lovingly hand-crafted! 🙂

Ok, I have so far been a rotten "man-mom" today and am now flying around the house, trying to get stuff done in the little time I have left.
(Uh, "man-mom"? Maybe that’s the word i’ve been looking for this whole time. Not married so "househusband" is a bit misleading.)

@don_rivers xbox 360 has netflix built in and the wii netflix disc is due very soon. But, no hi-def streaming with wii, obviously.
@don_rivers I assume you know more than me about networking but I can only get hd stream (720p) if the ps3 is wired, wireless won’t do it.

@don_rivers not quite that simple – they may sythesize a clove-ish kinda’ flavor, but these are gourmet items and I love my specific brand
@don_rivers it’s a bit like the difference between Johnny Walker and generic bottom-shelf scotch. Picky means nothing else is even close.
Somebody please tell/link me a great chicken enchilada recipe. I’ve never gotten it quite right. Pretend I know nothing.
