We’re considering spending the whole day with Final Fantasy XIII. hmmm…
A day as gorgeous as this makes it rather disappointing that the only nearby disc golf courses are up in the still-snowy mountains. -

Six kids here. None older than 4. The only nice thing about so many is that it’s more like crowd control than babysitting.
At Pizza Mill, never been in here – they have a whole bunch of old movie mini-posters. Wonder if it’s true film love or cheap decorations.
Pizza Mill also has tombstones lining the wall above the counter with names of every pizza/sub place in town that has closed down. Clever.

There is an oft-stated misconception that if a user never clicks on ads, then blocking them won’t hurt a site financially. This is wrong. Most sites, at least sites the size of ours, are paid on a per view basis. If you have an ad blocker running, and you load 10 pages on the site, you consume resources from us (bandwidth being only one of them), but provide us with no revenue.
Gonna start a stew this morn so I don’t have to cook dinner tonight – Final Fantasy XIII comes out today, that is our plan for this eve 🙂

mmkay, that experimental little bit of cumin I added to the chicken green chile stew may have been a mistake.
We have Final Fantasy XIII in our hands! 🙂 um, time to find out if it’s any good or not 😛
FF13 uses save points??? HELLO?! This is the 21st century, people! WHY do so many games STILL not let you save anywhere/time??
And no return of the victory fanfare after battles 🙁 But, btw, we are cautiously optimistic about the battle system itself so far. -

Why is there no WM6 Facebook app that has the unified news feed view? I don’t get why anyone would only view individual people’s feeds.
BEES!! Year round! I just don’t get it – come out here back morning coffee and there is always a bee buzzing around!! They never go away!
And i’m a total insectiphobe! So, I jump around and scream like a girl, spill my coffee, swinging the flyswatter and always miss. Grrrr.
And then I always look around for a neighbor watching. Maybe with a video camera – i’m gonnna be on youtube. Then the fark.com front page.

Just had @don_rivers over for coffee and conversation – good times 🙂 first twitterer i’ve met in person
And now, Krystal, Terra’s friend from work is sipping a latte while her daughter and Wesley play together. I am loving making drinks!!
So stoked I got to make drinks for guests. Really is one of my greatest simple pleasures 🙂
Now heading to K-Mart for slumber party night munchies 🙂 Sigh. This town needs a Target. K-Mart is second best munchies, though.
Btw, trivia: i’ve been online for 25+ years(!!!) (started in the BBS days) and @don_rivers is only the 3rd person I met online then IRL.
Wesley graduated from a baby car seat to a booster seat. Today he is a man.
Slumber party night begins with Hi-D-Ho burgers and Church of the SubGenius Hour of Slack via DementedRadio.com internet radio.
We watched (Netflix-suggested) 2009’s Ink. Stunning and incredible – I absolutely loved it, haven’t been blown away like that in a long time -

Straightening up a bit – we’re having company, a friend of Terra’s from work. The coffee bar will benefit someone besides us for a change:)
Ever since @Thorobredz (Chris Dunn to you FB’ers) moved away, we’ve got no one to make coffee for, so this is kinda’ exciting 🙂
Awww, company cancelled 🙁 @don_rivers, if you’re still out and about, it’s a great time to drop by for a quick afternoon caffix 🙂
