Just gave myself a crash course in zipper repair rather than give up my favorite wallet/clutch thing I’ve carried for some 13 years.

One of my can’t-live-without-it films – glad it made his list – http://bit.ly/b2qfCw Lost in Translation : rogerebert.com : Great Movies

Grrr, i am once again in a milk steaming slump – haven’t made a decent microfoam in days.

When I’m in a slump on one thing, I find sometimes I’ve started thinking about it too much and need to learn a new trick. Moka pot? Hmm.

watching The Invention of Lying with Terra – a third of the way in – I’m cautiously optimistic.

@don_rivers I really liked TIoL – a very thoughtful flick, even if it was trying to be controversial – i may write a quick blog post later.

I say again: "What dreadful hot weather we have! It keeps me in a continual state of inelegance."
Jane Austen

Saw the faces in the "activity room" when i dropped Terra off at work – no matter how bad this can be, I don’t want my mom there.

What a hectic day.

Love the PSP remake, long been curious about the original. RT @finalfantasyttv: Final Fantasy Tactics (Broadcasting at http://ustre.am/5iSY)

Ordered a new group gasket and got the Silvia steam wand so I can do the mod. Soon, my Lady Gaggia is gonna strut, pout, put it out 😛

Wesley is playing with his toys, singing Katy Pary songs to himself. Sigh… What have I done?

If you knew how good my chicken chile stew turned out, you’d be at our door, demanding some. (/imntbho)

watching Regarding Henry with Terra – our first time, but it’s been on my must-see list for years.

playing Valkyria Chronicles on PS3

@banhidancer i didn’t snap until this morn that was an Ender reference. Loved those books but didn’t get far and havent read Bean series.

@banhidancer the Ender books got me interested in Esperanto – "Ho bebo, tio estas kio mi shatas!" is all i remember 😛

In case you were wondring, the two kitties are not happy about this. And poor xmas kitty keeps backing down to new, older (6-7y.o.) kitty.

Teaching Terra how to backflush clean the espresso machine.

The dynamic is clearly this: Moogle kitty will not be the aggressor, but he would be the victor if it came to fisticuffs.

Moogle kitty looks at Christmas kitty like "Don’t do it, kid. I don’t want to hurt you".

We feel bad for xmas kitty that he’s feeling bullied out of his home – but xmas is outside all the time so their interaction is minimal.

Lemme tell ya, trying to cook dinner with limited water usage is a beeyotch! But mexi-fish with pico de gallo and spanish rice is served! 🙂

(I removed the P-trap from under the sink and put a bucket under it and then just had to keep emptying out the backdoor while I worked.)

.@don_rivers Yeah, not every town has nose cones, I suppose. And then there’s the space monkeys thing. (suddenly wanna watch Fight Club)

Wesley has learned up all the wrong things from me. I think the only chance is a master reset to factory state.

Plumber here, cleared the clog in the wall, now working on other things that needed done for awhile, so this is a good day.

Sesame Street podcast has begun a series of eps focusing on one letter at a time, rather than a word. Good time to subscribe if you arent.

Welp, I guess we won’t be getting a piggie – we got another kitty! (??!!) Will post pic if he ever comes out from under the bed 😛

Fearing people is a dangerous trap,  but trusting the Lord means safety. http://read.ly/Prov29.25.NLT

Grrr, a block behind the wall, kitchen sink not draining, plumber can’t come until tomorrow! Am I man enough to do the dishes in the tub?

Somebody come over for a cappuccino or something and brighten my day! (@TheLordHypno, Jeremy Patton, @don_rivers (?), @prdpgn, whoever!)

Is it really only 1?? There is something fundamentally wrong with the universe.

@prdpgn But, aren’t you one of those don’t-drink-coffee people? 😛 Well… You haven’t had mine 😀

@prdpgn was playing around with Facebook event thingy and THOUGHT i cancelled it – then you used that phrase "home cafe".

And (to paraphrase Tom Lehrer), if anyone is offended by what I say, I will not only retract it but publically deny I ever said it 😛
