Yay! I found an inexpensive scale that weighs in tenth gram increments. Very useful for accurate espresso dosing and I’ve never owned one.

And the group head gasket for my Gaggia got here yesterday. (17 days after i ordered it, grrr!) But, the leak is finally gone 🙂 🙂 🙂

Now, I just have to solve the steam wand leak issue and Lady Gaggia will be back to 100%. But that’s gonna be at least $45 plus shipping 🙁

I have decided I was right all along about every reason I’ve ever had to not switch to Linux. It is NOT simple and user-friendly.

Finding Linux software is a bitch and all the compiling and permissions and all this re-learning. I don’t have the time for a new hobby.

Ubuntu – the latest. I can sort of see how all this should work but the learning is time-consuming. A commodity I don’t have much of.

Well, after a couple hours with two tiers of tech support, something in my router seems to have fried. FRAK!!! So, i have work to do.

And i know very VERY little about this stuff so i am in for a lot of feeling around in the dark. Meanwhile everyone in the house is offline.

Wow, after many hours, i seem to have fixed our router problem. Want to know how? Yeah, me too.

So, I put together a computer and it’s part of the bar 🙂 I’m determined to make it my first Linux machine. My only worries are drivers.

I thought WholeLatteLove could do no wrong but I ordered a part on the 3rd, just called and they are just now sending it today! Grrrrr!

(and it’s only half my order – they say the other part is out of stock but their site didn’t say that when I paid for it!)

I now have a barely controllable urge to smash crockery or something.
