And, when he hears The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy theme, he strikes a pose like the cover image planet guy with the tongue and hands.

Wesley has the entire Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy saga (BBC radio version) on his PSP and it’s his favorite bedtime listening lately.

What’s puzzling is that he also has Jungle Jam – a lively children’s radio show – but prefers HGTTG, which is much more dialogue-laden.

The newer Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy radio shows are great but are sequels in storyline only, not style. Kinda’ like 2001 vs. 2010.

The celebrity cameos are fun. Especially Christian Slater as Wonko the Sane.

Just had moka breakthrough. Ground to near Turkish, pot didn’t clog, reddish foam in only first half of extraction. Theory: change dose?

But I’m at 20g of coffee to 10oz of water – a manual brew ratio. If I cut dose down…blech? Sooo, coarser grind? Hm. Need more experiments.

Perhaps moka achieves pressure enough to extract that thoroughly? But what I *see* suggests too fine a grind. Hmm. #thinkingoutloud

So, word is that Thursday or Friday we are having a new evap cooler installed 🙂 I hope this one works much much better.

Played a few hours of Final Fantasy 12 the last week or so – had to look at a walkthru the other day – I’ve almost finished it 🙁

For me, the story in FF12 is boring but it’s the perfect Final Fantasy battle system. I’ve played almost 100 hours over last couple years.

I despise re-playing RPGs and I’d hoped to play FF12 for a long time to come. So, I’ll scrap recent progress and go back to an older save.

I seem to have saved at a point of no return – the older save will allow me to go do all the grinding, side-quests, etc. that I want.
