Btw, I reached 100 hours in Final Fantasy XII last night. Only took me about three years o.O

I think I’m finally decided that I’m not a fan of Final Fantasy in general, though FF12 and FFT/FFT:TwotL are two of my favorite games ever.

The storylines in FF12 and FFT are too political and bore me (is this true of all Ivalice games?) but everything else is perfection.

Btw, bonus points to FF12 for having Mark Wing-Davey in the cast – the original Zaphod Beeblebrox!

Ooers. Just realized all the social features of White Knight Chronicles are perfectly usable with only the remote, no controller needed.

I used the ps3 remote to play FF9. And I have the one-handed controller that came out for PS1. Both great for menu-driven games, eg RPGs.

To be fair, I’ve played Final Fantasy Tactics on my PSP (first the remake, now the original) at least a couple times a week for 3 years(?)

I started the original FFT just to try it and experiment – have only Ramza, white mage Terra, archer Kai, geomancer Zissou, orator Zayne 🙂

Watching the original Solaris (1972, Russian) – I’m in awe but not sure I get it. It’s kinda’ like a trippy philosophical dialogue, though.

I just saw Terra and Wesley off on a shuttle to the airport. Sitting in the truck, wondering what to do with myself now…

The longest Terra and I have been apart since we met almost 3 and a half years ago is about 72 hours.

And I haven’t been apart from Wesley even a day since his real dad stopped taking him for the weekend about a year and a half ago.

Of course, this would all be easier if "Leaving on a Jet Plane" would stop playing in my mind.

The Tron blu-ray 5.1 mix sounds identical to the great mix on the old dvd – probably the best 2.0 (2.1?) to 5.1 remix I’ve ever heard.

Making it a double feature with The Black Hole. (This dvd is non-anamorphic!!)

This was, without a doubt, Best. Saturday. Evar.

Doing 11th hour preparations for Terra and Wesley’s trip to NC. She works tomorrow, they leave tues. For a week.

(The last real stress is, uh, how to get them to the airport. I know, I know. We’re working on it. The offered ride fell through, grrr.)
