TGISPN! 🙂

Well, after a couple hours with two tiers of tech support, something in my router seems to have fried. FRAK!!! So, i have work to do.

And i know very VERY little about this stuff so i am in for a lot of feeling around in the dark. Meanwhile everyone in the house is offline.

Wow, after many hours, i seem to have fixed our router problem. Want to know how? Yeah, me too.

So, I put together a computer and it’s part of the bar 🙂 I’m determined to make it my first Linux machine. My only worries are drivers.

I thought WholeLatteLove could do no wrong but I ordered a part on the 3rd, just called and they are just now sending it today! Grrrrr!

(and it’s only half my order – they say the other part is out of stock but their site didn’t say that when I paid for it!)

I now have a barely controllable urge to smash crockery or something.

😀 😀 😀 😀 RT @don_rivers: @ABQChristopher "My only worries are drivers" oh don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine. 🙂

I got Ubuntu Linux installed and klutzed my way through the network settings so I’m online. That’s gotta’ be worth some experience points 😛

Same. RT @don_rivers: My internet just went out. Baja broadband #alamogordo

.@don_rivers Our internet is still out. Cold sweats starting.

@don_rivers hmm, your reply didn’t hit my phone. But, yeah, I keep power cycling them and still no joy.

Just gave myself a crash course in zipper repair rather than give up my favorite wallet/clutch thing I’ve carried for some 13 years.

Grrr, i am once again in a milk steaming slump – haven’t made a decent microfoam in days.

When I’m in a slump on one thing, I find sometimes I’ve started thinking about it too much and need to learn a new trick. Moka pot? Hmm.

watching The Invention of Lying with Terra – a third of the way in – I’m cautiously optimistic.

@don_rivers I really liked TIoL – a very thoughtful flick, even if it was trying to be controversial – i may write a quick blog post later.

Saw the faces in the "activity room" when i dropped Terra off at work – no matter how bad this can be, I don’t want my mom there.

What a hectic day.

Love the PSP remake, long been curious about the original. RT @finalfantasyttv: Final Fantasy Tactics (Broadcasting at http://ustre.am/5iSY)

Ordered a new group gasket and got the Silvia steam wand so I can do the mod. Soon, my Lady Gaggia is gonna strut, pout, put it out 😛
