Blog

Well, here we go…

One of the guys on the crew is a chocolatier – we’re already comparing notes on our areas of geekery. Maybe this won’t be such a long ride.

Part one (of two) of job one (of two) complete. Beginning part two of job one. … Everyone get all that?

Job one of two finished. Loading up the equipment, then food, then job two.

Done. Time to stare at the backs of my eyelids a few hours. Been up since 7am. That was 22 hours ago.

Well, that didn’t suck too bad. Tomorrow will be when it starts seriously sucking.

Actually on time at church for morning rehearsal. This is a first.

Halloween just would not be the same without psychobilly music. The Creepshow, Horrorpops, et al. – look ’em up and give ’em a listen.

@KonyaHurricane Break a leg, mang. I’ll tell my story at some point. Bottom line = I got the job no one lasts long at because it sucks.

Wesley is having a turbo growth spurt. All his clothes are rapidly becoming too small – just like all of a sudden the last few weeks.

Our internet issues are much worse this morning – can’t even keep a radio station stable – at best it works a few minutes then fails.

Job interview bumped up to 430 today. Nervous. Feel like I’m going to a doctor to discuss test results or something.

Now with a blog http://t.co/BzvEvdKv — We’re counting down to his Halloween shows! – Gonna TAPE them this year to add to my collection 🙂

@KonyaHurricane We’ve had stability issues the last few days – eg. ‘net radio stations fade frustratingly in and out

@KonyaHurricane I didn’t rtfa but Dark Skies isn’t hard to find – try Hulu. If all else fails, I’ve got them all on VHS. I love that show 😀

Thanks, @implus for pushing out an update that (allegedly, hopefully) fixes the Facebook authentication issue! 🙂

We made awesome quesadillas loaded with chicken, veggies for spn dinner, now pressing play on A Nightmare on Elm St 5: The Dream Child…

And now, french press coffee and Freddy’s Dead – The Final Nightmare.

Took the trade-in stack to get RE5 for some horror-themed couples gaming fun. Um, this is *way* too hard for us! And it’s on easiest mode!!

So far this year, we think Kristen Lawrence and Verse 13 are the best artists played on http://t.co/fRYoVXlX

Great turn-out at the church this afternoon, getting lots of work done fast – even little kids carrying stuff. Prob’ll upload pics tomorrow.

Noone showed up to watch the kids during tonight’s meeting. So, I volunteered. What have I become??

Boys camp-out game night in the living room… Scooter playing Final Fantasy 9 on the PS3, I’m on my PSP, Wesley has my DS.

Explaining how to play an RPG to a 10-year-old, him catching on quickly, then talking FF geekspeak with him is a, uh, new experience for me.

Saturdays are fun day. The boys woke up and get to jump straight into LBP on PS3. Later, we do spn-on-a-diet 😛 The money sitch ain’t good.

Playing the Resident Evil 5 demo with Terra. We’ve talked about doing this for 2 (3?) years. We think it might be a great couples game.

Family quiet time… Scooter (Wesley’s temporary big brother) is playing Final Fantasy 9 on my PSP and lovin it. His first RPG. My fault.

Public radio pledge drive. Blech.

Sound booth, starting work on this Sunday’s presentation. Yes, I did it again but this time should be half the job last week’s was.
