Wesley can’t wait until Christmas http://flic.kr/p/7jvG19
Considering a Gaggia Pure or Evolution. Seems to be below my experience level but the features are better than my bleeping (broken) Bodum.
Not that I can afford either Gaggia ($250ish) but can’t find cheaper in that class and it looks to be a decent next works-for-now machine.
I can’t begin to guess how many times i’ve been tempted to buy a machine on credit – $500+ range, last me for years – no more entry level.
Hey, i’ve made the best of my sub-standard espresso machines! Modding, pushing to (past?) their limits for what? Five years?(!)
"Bloom where you’ve been planted." saw that yesterday – hadn’t heard it in a long time. gotta’ try to live it. -

Blech, what an ugly day outside. And I see Cloudcroft is getting snow. ( http://cloudcroftwebcam.com & http://cloudcroftweather.com )
Just got a tip to take my broken PS3 to Tech Solutions here in Alamo – says he does consoles – have any of you had any dealings with them? -

Uh oh. Awake at 4am, @nurseterra pretty sick. No gall bladder, fatty holiday foods? Stomach flu? (Better to get sick on the weekend?)
.@nurseterra is feeling a little better this morning. Good thing, too – she’s getting calls and has three visits already today.
Power just went out.
Waiting to see if @PNMTalk has something useful to say. First time power out since I started following them.
@don_rivers so far, we aren’t so lucky.
Grrr, promised @nurseterra kitchen would be clean when she got home, ready for slumber party. Windowless, powerless kitchen = a dark cave.
Power back on. For now.
Ran to kmart for spn munchies, ended up getting lots of stocking stuffers and now it’s 9 ‘clock!!! Laaaate slumber party, prob fall asleep.
White chocolate covered pretzel rods and Christmas Vacation. Two great slumber party night choices 🙂 -

watched Planes, Trains and Automobiles with @nurseterra after everyone else went to bed. rounded out a great Thanksgiving double feature.
Man, how many cupcakes did I eat last night? Still feeling a bit ill.
@BoseService ok, it’s a 5 cd changer sitting beneath what i believe is called an acoustic wave machine – cd won’t play, won’t eject.

I uploaded a YouTube video — Thanksgiving Eve – making desserts for tomorrow http://bit.ly/5AVELc
NOOOO!!!! The pudding fridged for 12 hours and it’s TOO THIN!! Any suggestions for a fix?
And my mom’s stooopid Bose just ate my holiday mix CD I’d been saving for today! Won’t play, won’t spit it out. Where’s my Ativan??!! o.O
Ok, pudding saved. Added white choc instant pudding mix sparinbngly until it thickened enough. Sigh. It will have to do.
Thanksgiving dinner and Pieces of April with the fam – mom, wesley, me, and @nurseterra.
Could we maybe just burn the kitchen down instead of having to clean it? -

WE’RE ALL PROUD OF YOU!! RT @NurseTerra: I START BACK TO WORK ON MONDAY!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for the prayers everyone. God bless you all
We certainly aren’t home and dry yet – lost a lot of income – but we are definitely home and vigorously toweling ourselves off 🙂
Wesley can’t figure out what we’re jumping up and down and tangoing around the living room about 😀
RT @BaddBoiNation: if you are not making someone else life better…then ur wasting your time…!!
Thanksgiving eve – in kitchen with @nurseterra making desserts for tomorrow, listening to xmas internet radio – good times 🙂
