Cooking chicken, wheat penne, sauce with lots of black olives 🙂 , salad of cukes, romas, bell peppers, and my garlic bread. Nummay!!
Drain pasta, turn off fire under sauce, pull garlic bread out of oven, it’s 6:45 – everything done at the same time, on time! Huzzah!
Posted @ABQChristopher tea?.
Made breakfast with @nurseterra and had them with iced coffee. We have two days off, today is get stuff done day so we are FREE tomorrow.
Ooooops. That should have read made breakfast burritos with @nurseterra.
Oh and tonight is slumber party! 🙂

After a long time trying many, I’ve finally found a GREAT shopping list app for my phone! 🙂 (sigh… this is what my life has become.)
(There is a shopping prog for the Psion 5 I’ve never found a good replacement for so I’ve still been using it. Another Psion need gone.)
But, hey, I’ve been using a Psion for how many YEARS?? If it still has even a FEW unrivaled apps, that’s really saying something for it.
(Devoted owner of a rare green Psion 5mx Pro – it still goes with me everywhere. I started up the model ladder with a 3a some 15 yrs ago.)
(I never much cared for models that came out after the 5mx Pro, so the ladder stops there for me.)
I look at Washington Park and I see great potential for a nice little nine-hole disc golf course.
Gettin’ Brown Bag Deli for slumber party dinner, gonna’ go home, grub and listen to old Dr. Demento tape before the movie and junk food 🙂 -

Gonna head up to Plateau Espresso in a bit (yeah, early for the get-together, I know.) but i’ve missed the plce and wanna hang out 🙂
When I first moved here and Dad required constant care, I’d go to Plateau for a couple hours every night at his bedtime and Mom took over.
At my nightly Plateau visits, I didn’t really talk about my life much, preferring the escape of listening to all the people there talk 🙂
I am at Plateau Espresso 🙂 (Having a "cappuccino"(?). Still. Very cool to be here 🙂 )
At Plateau Espresso, playing spades with Sarah (my old Plateau friend), Mary, and Beth. Hypno is watching.
I pray all my words be encouraging, even if just for today. http://read.ly/Prov10.32.NLT

Podcasts and housework. Sooo low energy today, like trying to move around under water. Probably not drinking enough fluids in this heat.
Btw, it seems Plateau no longer staffs only teenage girls, the only two working last night were young guys. Still no skills, though.
"Once you knew his first few digits, they repeated in a predictable pattern." – heard that in a story on the Escape Pod podcast.

Lifestream for June 9th, 2010
Out of the blue today, I added a rear surround channel to the living room sound system to bring it back up to the 6.1 I had back home 🙂
After testing a couple discs, it would seem the PS3 won’t pass anything higher than 5.1 over an optical cable. (???!!!!)
Soooo, that won’t affect DD-EX, I assume, but DTS-ES (and everything since?) is discreet 🙁 Grrrrrrr. This sucks!
I don’t think I have even one DTS-ES DVD anymore. The Descent blu-ray has 6.1 PCM and the receiver shows 5.1 discreet 🙁
I am almost 100% positive that the PS2 via optical is all the ex and I ever used for DVDs and IT output 6.1! WTF!?
Grrrr, I was right – I have no DTS-ES DVDs – I’m pretty sure the the only one I’ve owned was Evil Dead and I’ve long parted with that one.
Ah HA!! Crash on blu-ray is DTS-ES 6.1 discrete and shows up as such on my receiver 🙂 Now, if only all my crises were so short-lived 😛
Um, I should point out that I meant Crash by Paul Haggis in 2004(?) – not, uh, the other movie by that title.
Off today, REALLY feeling nine holes in Cloudcroft in a bit. Second attempt at our first throw in almost a year! Anyone wanna come with?
@don_rivers D’OH!! Maybe come for coffee and we’ll hit you over the head with a frothing pitcher and you can say you were forced?
@don_rivers and you have a disc??
Whoa. Overnight, the mobile version of twitter.com got a make-over and it’s quite nice.

Last call for disc golf in Cloudcroft with us! (We do have extra discs.) @1prdpgn @TheLordHypno @Thorobredz 😛 @ whoever – leaving soon!
Chris Dunn aka @Thorobredz is my original "throw bro" – my phone even plays sound of a disc hitting the chains when I get a text from him 😉
@TheLordHypno Ack! REALLY want to go but that’s really late for us 🙁 I’m gonna strongly consider breaking the rules. Thanks for heads up!
🙁 🙁 RT @TheLordHypno: Plateau Esspresso 8 8:30ish Sara 1.0 is leaving alamogordo this is you last chance to say good bye and hang out too
@laeryg Not the weather outside 😛
@TheLordHypno Done and done. I will be there 🙂
Oh oh. Halfway there and Cloudcroft appears to be more clouds than croft.
CURSES!! This is twice the car has failed to get us to Cloudcroft!!! Going back home, defeated 🙁
@1prdpgn well, read my more recent tweets and you’ll be glad you didn’t make it 😛
@1prdpgn maybe, but I strongly recommend not buying until you try out some discs and figure out your best weight class, stability, etc.
@1prdpgn and you’ll find out what those words mean and why it matters when you play a few times 😛
@don_rivers it suddennly was losing power – err, the fuel kind – press gas and nothing happens, eventually sputtered out…….
@don_rivers called the auto hotline (her dad) and he theorizes various fuel issues but could just be a thermostat. Now waking the old truck.
@don_rivers no matter what’s wrong, car may well be in shop, will need truck.
Dad’s old truck lives. (I first learned to drive with this thing.) (’87(?) Chevy Silverado, single owner. People tell me it’s "cherry".)
When I argue it don’t LOOK "cherry", they say it just needs a little work and external stuff but there isn’t a dent or major issue anywhere.
The car may need shop time so, we revived the truck. Thanks to Dad Benton, Lance, and Dunn Dawg for the work done to it in the last 2 years.
If it weren’t for their help, it might not have been so easily awoken for our hour of need.
The truck stereo even has an input so Terra hooked her PSP to it and she’s all vacuuming and cleaning and singing. Making it hers 🙂

Frack! Came out of wal-mart to a tire going flat rapidly, walmart tire is booked for the day – suggestions (asap)?
Guess I should have been more specific – I put the donut on, I was hoping for a miraculous repair place open before she has to drive in morn
But, we’re home now, so, the alert is cancelled 😛

Posted @ABQChristopher lol same here!.
Playing Blazing Angels on PS3, an allegedly historically accurate WWII flight combat sim. A favorite of mine – breathtaking in every way.
While I PS3, Wesley is enthusiastically watching/cheering my aerial combat over 1940 London, Terra is next to me making a new photo collage.
@1prdpgn The Netflix disc is a good start if you don’t have Netflix Instant Watch in your living room yet.
@1prdpgn and it plays GameCube games, too, and you can get those really cheap.
@1prdpgn and the Wii has quite a homebrew community, so far as I know. (Mom has one, I haven’t spent much time with it.)
Watching 1964’s Fail Safe with Terra – her 1st time. Excellent film – Henry Fonda stars, Sidney Lumet directs – on Netflix InstantWatch now.
@don_rivers Meh, it didn’t really do it for me. Still have hopes for Josie and the Pussycats, though – it’s in the spn collection.
@don_rivers Well, again, it’s in the spn list. All I expect is a junk food movie 🙂 (Hey, I really enjoyed Spice World on spn 😛 )
On three days, off one day, on one day, off one day, on two days, off four days. This schedule really messes with my need for rigid routine.
vv6-11 really speak directly to me today. http://read.ly/Prov6.6.NASB
Wesley and I are making a big batch of chicken & green chile stuff. Gonna be in casserole for dinner and lunch burritos for freezer.
Chicken+chiles+onions mixture, spoon black beans, spoon brown rice, some cheese, roll it up in a tortilla, stick ’em in freezer.
Yeah, they may still be frozen microwave burritos, but since EYE make them, at least I know what’s in them. Very handy quick snack. -

Well, after a factory state reset my phone is fine again. It sucks to do it but it’d be a waste to upgrade if I can make this one work.
I’ve had this phone 2 years & so far I’ve been able to fix anything that went wrong. Getting a new phone would be giving into ‘tech lust’ 😛
I do have a ‘disaster kit’ wherein I keep the .cab files for my most-needed apps as well as a pim backup app so, it’s work but no real loss.
Erm, but the computer and my psp are still broke so all is not right yet. And I think the ‘puter’s toast and i’m just building a new one 🙁 -
