Wrapping up dinner then finally get to try Valkyria Chronicles 2 online. (If, uh, nothing else goes wrong.) (And if anyone is online.)

@don_rivers After you’ve completed SC5, I’ll loan ya’ SC5p2 which, as you know, is in japanese. I far prefer it to the PS2 english version.
|
|
|
@don_rivers otoh, SC5p2 has co-op 2p mode, so if you’re any good at SC5, you’ll have to come over and we’ll crank it up 🙂

Natch. I boot up the PS3, try to go online, and there is a required firmware update. Didn’t take forever, but still. #UpdateStation3

Valkyria Chronicles 2 online PvP is odd. Not enough to clear all enemies, must capture & keep all bases. And it kinda’ takes forever. Hm.

I just successfully did the ‘Silvia steam wand mod’ to my Gaggia Classic, which means I just levelled up as a home barista 🙂

@RamboKK Not at all. And I haven’t been able to stop thinking about your loss since you tweeted about it this morning.

Lifestream for September 7th, 2010
Making dinner, Terra playing (??) Heavy Rain in living room, Wesley watching his PSP on the couch, later I get Valkyria Chronicles 2 time 🙂
I’ve gotten 10 hours in 3 days in Valkyria Chronicles 2 (that’s a lot for me). I’m lovin’ it. Its only flaws are the same the first had.
It is SO annoying how Valkyria Chronicles lets you win – the computer throws away turns! Looking forward to online player vs. player 🙂
So many times in both Valkyria Chronicles games, the computer has me – I’m a dead man – and it forfeits the rest of its turn. Wtf??
Excellent artice about one of my top can’t-live-without-it games http://www.next-gen.biz/features/time-extend-space-channel-5-part-2
I have said for years that Space Channel 5 is less a game, more an interactive cinematic musical production.
(see also the excellent Mad Maestro (ps2) – it’s an orchestra conducting sim with great classical music choices and realistic controls.)
I should be video’ing me cleaning up the yard. Screaming like a girl, jumping around every time I see a bug would be YouTube gold! /citydude
WHAT??!! NO!!! It can’t get all windy and rainy NOW!!! I worked half the day making these neat piles of weeds and trash!!! FML!!!!
*shakes a fist at the heavens, falls on knees, whimpering, beats head on concrete "NO! It’s NOT FAIR!!!"*
WHERE’S MY ATIVAN?!!!
I’m not even over being sore and tired and "Mother Nature" blows all my hard work away. … bitch. -

Wesley started the day sprinting for the bathroom and yarking his guts up so he gets to watch all the Batman cartoons Netflix streaming has.

So, it’s steak, stuffed peppers, and a 2007 Woodbridge Pinot Noir. We start cooking now – a little later than we intended.
Dinner was great *hic* 😛
Btw, dinner is being followed by Natural Brew Draft Root Beer 🙂 Mom can’t drink wine, so she had IBC cream soda w/ dinner and the RB after.
Shared Tonight’s dinner.
Btw, we did go to the Cottonwood Festival. Notice we didn’t Twitter/Flickr/etc about it? Enough said 😛

Just discovered i’ve gotten a couple twitter replies today but they never hit my phone though i’ve gotten seemingly all other tweets. Hrm.
We’re probably gonna do the cottonwood festival today. Never been, not my scene, but meh, whatever.
But, tonight is making dinner together – we’re thinking of making that a saturday tradition.
This week’s wine pairing challenge: chicken stir fry. Difficulty: no sake. -

Lately, I’ve been wanting a new light above the bar. And I have very specific requirements. I get these weird cravings sometimes.
Today begins her/us being back on a normal mon-fri schedule! 🙂 🙂 Really hope they don’t change it back for a very long time.
trying the shortest possible, snapshot-of-my-life bio on my site http://christophercornelius.com/wp/the-short-version-bio-who-i-am-today/
I intend to do the "longer version" (covering, for instance, my life in abq) eventually. but, it took months just to finally do this 😛
