Ok, wesley now has a little tv, dvd player, and gamecube in his room. So, xmas will include a stack of dvd’s and games for him 🙂

(mom contributed the tv, the gamecube is mine, the dvd player was Terra’s. He will borrow dvd’s from us until xmas.)

I’m am not a huge fan of kids having tv’s and stuff in their rooms, becoming couch tater tots – so this stuff will be mostly for his spn.

And, btw, we do not get tv, cable, satellite or any form of broadcast stuff, so all he will have is carefully selected stuff.

Wesley first movie in his room: Star Wars. His first time seeing it. He actually stood and cheered when the Death Star exploded.

@don_rivers when i was a kid, my dad repaired airplane movie projectors for a living, so our tv was the test model he kept at home 🙂

@don_rivers it fluctuates quality during the movie, usually at least Hi SD and sometimes hitting HD levels – you can turn on an info display

@don_rivers sometimes stable HD the whole time but mom usually is also doing high bandwidth stuff on her ps3 in her room (Netflix or PSHome)

@don_rivers But, I am REALLY impressed with VuDu’s peer-to-peer "HDX" performance. Stable HD&5.1. Caveat: only tried VuDu once and……..

I’m not saying The Wrestler was especially bad (though, it wasn’t personally my kind of flick), it’s just a drastic departure for Aronofsky.
