1986’s Solarbabies, jelly beans, Double Stuff Oreos, chips and jar o’ cheesy sauce, and even some kitty treats for our lap warmers.
Solarbabies. This might be the. worst. movie. we’ve watched yet. It’s not even so bad it’s good. A total turkey.

The Dark Knight really is a feast for the mind. I keep thinking that it’s why it’s so long – it doesn’t cut concept in favor of action.

Sigh… I miss days like this one… http://christophercornelius.com/wp/2009/06/27/lifestream-for-june-27th/
two Irish Bucks each in two hours, she’s asleep, I have a headache. Um, yeah, lightweights, cheap dates, teetotallers – that’s us.
Tonight, showing Wesley The Matrix for his first time. (the mess he’s made of his strawb frozen yogurt sure looks like there was no spoon.)

That "Lay Me Down" song on radio fills some of the void the death of Brad Nowell left in my music life. Hm. Where’s my 40oz to Freedom cd?

Posted @ABQChristopher love that tweet..
I wish I’d jotted down the date or something but it’s gotta’ be right around FOUR months since I smoked.
Say what you will about still being addicted to nicotine but you can’t rationally deny that breathing smoke is suicide – albeit a slow way.
Erm, oops, obviously that last should have said something like it can’t be denied it’s better than the suicide of breathing smoke. Meh.
Today I am forgoing music or podcasts and introducing Wesley to one of my all-time favorite radio shows – Jungle Jam & Friends.
The chicken green chile stew must flow. He who controls the chicken green chile stew controls New Mexico.
Picked up a bottle of Jameson (my brother’s fault) and we’re trying Irish Bucks (ice, 1p irish, 5p gingerale). Should be great summer drink.
We’ve been on this ginger ale kick – trying all brands, finding faves of dry vs. golden, etc. – adding booze seemed the next logical step π

The coffeegeek.com podcast is doing a History of Espresso (two part?) series!! He is a very in-depth researcher, his histories always rock.
Since I am behind on my podcasts (and the house shows it), it means I don’t have to wait for the second episode. Hand me that sponge!

Finally broke down and ate at our new IHOP. To make it back to the truck, I may need a wagon. Or a bucket.

Sat down to spn dinner, turned on U7.org’s Very Best of Art Bell station just as an old Ghost to Ghost show started π
Art Bell is an actor playing the part of Art Bell. A guy doing an X-Files kinda show. If he ever found "the truth" he wouldn’t have a show.

I only watch movies – my brother makes them. http://youtube.com/JWCornelius Not that I’m jealous or anything. Sigh. Anyone want coffee?
And that last was a segue to post http://youtube.com/lvfilmclub – the efforts of my brother and his crew. Their latest is easily my fave.
Every time I watch The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou I vow I will begin a serious exploration of David Bowie music and never have.
Lately, I am convinced that The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is (bold)The Perfect Wes Anderson Film(/bold). All his best qualities in one.
Come for Owen Wilson actually playing a part, not just being himself and stay for the truly stunning but under-used boat cutaway set.

181.fm changed some stream urls again, so until I re-add The Point, I’m on Chill, being reminded why it’s usually an evening choice for us.
I guess the 181.fm Chill music is called downtempo electronic? Think Bjork, Moby, most of Garden State soundtrack (Frou Frou, Zero7, etc.)
RT @vanillaweiss2: @ChickFila come open up a place in Alamogordo, NM. PLEASE!!
Saw a headline in the kmart checkout, said "KIDS IN NACHOS!", blinked, now it more reasonably said, "KIDS IN CHAOS!".
