Lifestream for August 6th
Sitting around, enjoying some foodie talk with @Thorobredz – he’s in town for a few hours…
Headed to cloudcroft to throw some disc golf with @Thorobredz – it’s been WEEKS!
Meh, finished 3 over… One birdie but a double bogey (on an improv’ed hole because 8 was blocked by people) and a bogey on 6…
I had a great first 5 holes or so but he par’ed the course so beat me by 3 strokes…

Ok, i made it for lunch this time: baked tilapia on bruschetta with a tomato pesto and it came out great 🙂 maybe i’ll post my recipe…
Good point, @Thorobredz – the less i tell, the more people will beg to come be a lunch/dinner/coffee guest 🙂

When i am having a rotten day but i hurriedly do my hair and it comes out perfect, i always feel like my hair is mocking me or something…

Well, my experiment of tilapia on bruschetta with steamed peppers and onions was ok but would have made a much better lunch than a dinner…
Watching @nurseterra play Prince of Persia – she got it used for $14! It’s pretty much the only PS3 game she’s been interested in…
Grrr, *facepalm*, not more bleeping rain! RT @drivers99: here comes the rain again. Storm with "90% chance hail" about to hit Alamogordo.
I might as well go get the candles and flashlights now – our area power is so delicate, it goes out just from a forecast of a storm…
I am playing my psp, @nurseterra is playing ps3… If the power goes, she loses any unsaved progress, but i keep playing! 😛 -

I’ve listened to that 1991 BBC production of Brave New World and i like it but always miss my favorite line of the book that they left out:
Something like "Real happiness almost always looks pretty squallid compared to the overcompensations for unhappiness." So true…
But they left in "I am I and I wish I wasn’t." another favorite of mine…
I somewhere have the book on audio, read by Edward Woodward… Yes, The Equalizer 🙂

Started totally re-doing the living room theater at 730 and i think i’m finally done – even got my Dreamcast and GameCube set up again 🙂

Working on an idea for an italian salad-sort-of-thing to go with lasagna tonight rather than putting veggies in it… I think it’ll work 🙂
(gonna sautee some bell pepper, onion, tomato, mushroom, black olive, garlic, in olive oil with some parmesan, basil, oregano…)
Grrrr, Basin Electronics doesn’t do speaker repair and he is pretty sure no one in the area does.. Gonna go find a wall to beat my head on..
