And now, Krystal, Terra’s friend from work is sipping a latte while her daughter and Wesley play together. I am loving making drinks!!

So stoked I got to make drinks for guests. Really is one of my greatest simple pleasures 🙂

Now heading to K-Mart for slumber party night munchies 🙂 Sigh. This town needs a Target. K-Mart is second best munchies, though.
|
|
|
Btw, trivia: i’ve been online for 25+ years(!!!) (started in the BBS days) and @don_rivers is only the 3rd person I met online then IRL.

Wesley graduated from a baby car seat to a booster seat. Today he is a man.

Slumber party night begins with Hi-D-Ho burgers and Church of the SubGenius Hour of Slack via DementedRadio.com internet radio.

We watched (Netflix-suggested) 2009’s Ink. Stunning and incredible – I absolutely loved it, haven’t been blown away like that in a long time

Straightening up a bit – we’re having company, a friend of Terra’s from work. The coffee bar will benefit someone besides us for a change:)
Ever since @Thorobredz (Chris Dunn to you FB’ers) moved away, we’ve got no one to make coffee for, so this is kinda’ exciting 🙂
Awww, company cancelled 🙁 @don_rivers, if you’re still out and about, it’s a great time to drop by for a quick afternoon caffix 🙂
@don_rivers kids are welcome, we have one ourselves 😛 but otherwise, yeah, we wanna start having guests, so ‘soon’ works for us 🙂
here is the previously mentioned (small) collection of pics of my coffee bar, drinks, etc. from the last 4 years or so http://bit.ly/5hlDp6

Done for the day. Watching Terra play the Heavy Rain demo (PS3). Very impressive so far. Is this the future of interactive fiction?

Terra hurt her back at work – 3 days off, but she’s pretty much chained to her recliner – thank God for PS3 Netflix streaming 🙂 -

I think i’ll have no choice but to build a pressure gauge, this Gaggia is clearly set way over 9 bars, shots are foamy no matter what I do.
Btw, I know how to neither build a gauge nor adjust an opv but I hear neither is excessively complicated.
These beans do clearly need a bit more rest but there is a foaminess no matter what beans i’ve used that dissolves, leaving actual crema. -

We need some time out/unplugged – headed for Ruidoso, gonna go to the little kitchen/bar shop up there and maybe one or two other stops.
Sigh. What I would not give for a disc golf course here in Alamogordo. Cloudcroft and Ruidoso will be too wintery for quite awhile still. -

68 degrees at 9am. It’s still february. Maybe my calendar’s broke – clearly either it or the weather needs a firmware patch or something.
Either way, I opened a bunch of windows. Get the stale winter air out of the house. Now if only there were a proper breeze.
Ronna & Jennifer: I’d gladly trade – I’m not ready for cold weather to end, summers last WAY too long here. (and I love coat pockets 🙂 )
Grrr, out of milk, no afternoon latte for me – guess i’ll make an americano. Maybe if I add cream and close my eyes, it’ll be close.
Starting morns lately blasting Bad Romance by Lady Gaga. And I’ve been referring to my Gaggia espresso machine as "Lady Gaggia". Send help.
(btw, Gaggia is pronounced GAH-zha.)
I applied a fix for my site lifestream AND our coffee beans shipment arrived within ten minutes of each other. This day is getting better 🙂
WHAT???!!!!! Netflix is down on slumber party night!!!!???? Now that’s just wrong!
Netflix came back online 🙂 So, tonight’s slumber party movie: Spice World. That’s right, the Spice Girls movie. And Ben & Jerry’s.

This PS3 really cuts into my text adv time 😛 it’s been days since I’ve touched Slouching Towards Bedlam on pc and Curses! on my phone 🙂
just a quick thought here, but it was too long for a tweet.
anyway, I want to be able to select tweets for a group (like the lists feature for people) and then twitter assigns a link to a page with all/only those tweets. for instance, when we went to balloon fiesta – a timeline […]
