So, word is that Thursday or Friday we are having a new evap cooler installed 🙂 I hope this one works much much better.

Played a few hours of Final Fantasy 12 the last week or so – had to look at a walkthru the other day – I’ve almost finished it 🙁

For me, the story in FF12 is boring but it’s the perfect Final Fantasy battle system. I’ve played almost 100 hours over last couple years.

I despise re-playing RPGs and I’d hoped to play FF12 for a long time to come. So, I’ll scrap recent progress and go back to an older save.

I seem to have saved at a point of no return – the older save will allow me to go do all the grinding, side-quests, etc. that I want.

Well, spn was thwarted by very unexpected guests. So, the night was a mixed bag to be sure. Or just deserts for complaning of a boring life?

Autobio note: Today, first time in my life, someone not only mentioned my grey but used the word "prominent" and speculated my age by it.

Btw, the person guessed a little older but for various reasons, I’d usually rather be taken for older than younger at this point in my life.

Future-Self note: If someone suddenly wants to drop by on Friday night, they’re drunk, even if they don’t seem it at first. Duh.

And addendum: Don’t make everybody Irish Coffees (contains whiskey AND caffeine) until you’re sure they’re not already drunk. Duh!

Oh yeah and Future-Self: They’ll have their precious little Destructo-Brat or whatever they said it’s name was with them. Hide the cat food.

Oh boy. Since Wesley can’t play Free Realms, I’ve been letting him sample other PS3 games and I think he has become a Sonic fanatic today.

Just got Wesley a memory game for his PSP & he loves it. The PSP has been a great educational tool for almost 3 years. Parents take note 🙂

I really think I know how I’d do a "beginning home barista" class. I know where I’d start and how it would unfold. Prob 6-8 1-2hr sessions.

Along the way, one session each about press, siphon, moka, espresso. But, just all intro and how to individually progress past the basics.

Since no one would already have all the equipment to practice on, only the basics would be practically useful. But it’d be hands-on info.

Four people per course. I could deal with that. And the "homework" would be simple online research about the next week’s subject.
