Ooers. Just realized all the social features of White Knight Chronicles are perfectly usable with only the remote, no controller needed.

I used the ps3 remote to play FF9. And I have the one-handed controller that came out for PS1. Both great for menu-driven games, eg RPGs.

So, Terra’s parents do have a wifi lan. So, she can remote play into our PS3 via her PSP and show ’em every photo and vid on our PS3 🙂

I just saw Terra and Wesley off on a shuttle to the airport. Sitting in the truck, wondering what to do with myself now…

The longest Terra and I have been apart since we met almost 3 and a half years ago is about 72 hours.

And I haven’t been apart from Wesley even a day since his real dad stopped taking him for the weekend about a year and a half ago.

Of course, this would all be easier if "Leaving on a Jet Plane" would stop playing in my mind.

The Tron blu-ray 5.1 mix sounds identical to the great mix on the old dvd – probably the best 2.0 (2.1?) to 5.1 remix I’ve ever heard.

Making it a double feature with The Black Hole. (This dvd is non-anamorphic!!)

I have successfully adapted a metal filter to the siphon pot. I say the cloth filter absorbs more of the coffee oils than I prefer.

The siphon coffee I made with the metal moka filter pretty much tastes like press – a suspicion I’d had. But, it was more fun to make 😉

Caveat: I am drinking it iced and did not try it hot yet. But, I think I’d be unable to decide in a blind taste test between this and press.

While the clean, clear look of siphon coffee is pleasing to the eye, it also *tastes* very clean. Too clean for my taste.

And for our beloved Irish coffee, siphon just isn’t the same – press or moka softens the whiskey bite and brings out all the best flavors.

Wow. The place at the mall that sells e-cigs is as bad as usual – $25 for 10mL bottle, $200 for non-usb eGo starter kit, etc.. AVOID.

I’ve now seen every local source for e-cigs and e-cig stuff and they are all rip-offs. Do not do it. Ask me, I’ll tell you how to proceed.

Not to mention they have little knowledge of their poduct. One place didn’t know what a cartomizer is, mall gall didn’t grock PG vs. VG.

E-cigs are the latest get-rich-quick scheme. Worst products, highest price. From what I’ve seen, never buy in person – online is only way.
