At Martin Tire again (just don’t even ask), hoping they’re done before Terra gets off work. Well, what did I want, a boring life?

I have declared war on the Gaggia’s leaky steam valve. Today, doing a major descale. We want espresso lately. Iced lattes, for instance.

Starbase 479 Sci Fi Radio is playing 2061: Odyssey Three. Love it. And what a cool internet radio station – audiobooks, shorts, Art Bell.

After a 6-hour aggressive descaling, Lady Gaggia’s steam valve is closing much better. Not perfect, but we’re able to make espresso again 🙂

For his 3rd slumber party movie (he always watches both Ghostbusterses first), Wesley chose Star Trek The Motion Picture. That’s my boy! 🙂

I should never have signed the contract without having the job description clearly spelled out.

Woke up to a flat, called Verizon roadside assistance – I’m no kind of man. They’re sending someone named Jenny to fix it for me. Sigh…

I’ve tried a few times and the PS3 backup won’t restore. It gets to 97% and just hangs. Not frozen – I can cancel – it just never finishes.

See what I mean? I torrented a movie we wanted to see after a long torrent-free time and, a week or so later, it’s a Vudu 99cent movie.

my point being that the current state of streaming services is so incredible that I rarely torrent or otherwise seek out specific titles.

the only movies I need to own physical media for are ‘cold dead hands’ titles for which I must see every feature and always have on hand.

Sooo, anyone have vet advice? Xmas Kitty has a problem that may or may not be serious and I’d rather not spend a bunch to be told it isn’t.

wtf is the point of showing up on time for a dr appt? I’ve been doing this a long time and they always keep you waiting. Half hour so far.
