well since i got my set-up done last night i thought i would test it out by watching a movie…
i watched “Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert”…
i remember seeing this movie in the theater back when it came out at some art theater and had not watched it since and i think i know why… it was fun in spots but far from a great movie…
it is strange seeing the actors that we know from “the matrix” and “momento” playing drag queens but the music was uplifting and fun… the costumes are very over the top and the make-up is amazing…
growing up in southern california drag queen shows are not rare and they were fun so this was kind of a blast to the past of my old club days…
the laserdisc looked alright but i have not done the calibrating yet so i know that the next one that i watch will be much better…
that is all for today… got to be back to work on my set-up…
