2:59pm Deleting spammer accounts from abqdiscgolf.com and listening to Ridley Scott’s commentary on Blade Runner…
3:01pm I made a very nice PSP version of Blade Runner Final Cut with a high video bitrate and all three commentaries 🙂 Handbrake rocks after all!
4:57pm We made a fire :). In mom’s kiva or chiminea or whatever the hell it’s called… Gonna have to make a habi… http://zannel.com/u/S3ELCSUFUZ

8:44am Qwest unplugs ZiaNet service – Alamogordo Daily News http://tinyurl.com/7bl5u6
9:15am http://tinyurl.com/axo9ar thread about what people dislike about alamogordo… 154 posts so far… sigh, i’ll be back in abq someday…
10:53am @racquelmorris i’m not on topix – i didn’t know about it – i do most of my web browsing on my phone and the mobile site doesnt have comments
10:56am @racquelmorris when i last looked into it, qwest only offered msn as an isp and so i went with zianet – dad had been with them for years…
10:56am @racquelmorris but that was years ago and zianet has changed in recent times, it seems…
11:07am From the Dark City commentary: “To me, science fiction is something that could be and fantasy is something that could never be.” Well said-
12:32pm Listening to Greg Koukl.. His podcasts have been hitting my psp for weeks and hadnt gotten around to them.. Used to listen to him in SoCal..
1:54pm All xmas stuff has been taken down… Looks boring in here now…

5:49pm Making iced lattes, getting ready for slumber party night 🙂
7:46pm Starting slumber party night with a tape of The Dr. Demento Show from April 26, 1998…
8:45pm Tonight’s spn movie is The Big Lebowski… Oh, and tonight’s junk food indulgence to accompany our junk food movie is Fruity Pebbles 🙂
9:33pm Our espresso bar work area. Where we make all the yummy drinks 🙂 http://zannel.com/u/LA2O2LCYJ4
10:10pm I think my LaserDisc of The Big Lebowski looks better than this dvd – dark, muddy picture, bad compression, lousy transfer all around… -

7:42am Laying in bed, playing Final Fantasy III on my DS… Still think dual screen is a gimmick, but touch screen in an rpg is undeniably handy…
8:35am Our internet is back! Our internet is back! Im gonna go shout it in the streets!
3:52pm Today we completely tore down the coffee bar, detail cleaned everything, and put it all back, with some changes… Very pleased with it 🙂
7:17pm @livin4hymn Mr. Boombastic? Karma Chameleon? Margaritaville? Material Girl?
8:21pm Terra playing Final Fantasy X. She sits on “her gaming pillow” on the floor and whips out the guide and ca… http://zannel.com/u/OX7G00Y39Y
8:55pm Now that i have google back, i am having great success with Handbrake… Good quality PSP movies with multiple commentaries 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
8:55pm It’s like film school in my pocket 🙂
9:25pm See, i LOVE commentaries and i’ll listen to them a lot more if they are in my pocket…
9:50pm My ashes into space? No- but, maybe my hair so an alien civilization could one day clone me and revere me as a god who came from the heavens
12:12am Linger In Shadows (for PS3, from PSN) is the most unusual “gaming” experience i’ve ever had and i think i love it… -

1:54am Playing Final Fantasy III on my DS that ive had since july and never even opened the box until yesterday… Not a DS fan, just an FF fan 😉
1:56am Oh, btw, my DS is white, of course 🙂 Mom gave it to me to match my white PSP… Ive just VERY rarely seen a DS game that tempted me…
1:59am I’ve decided to put it by my bed and use it for bedtime story games, including RPGs… I saw reviews for FF 4 and 6 on DS and gave in…
8:57am Shared a link on Google Reader.
10:35am Just passed the 24 hour mark since the internet went out…
2:09pm Terra and i are outside, making some major changes to the back patio… If all goes according to plan, it’s gonna be sweet…
3:32pm Well, THAT was a chore, but it’s much better… The whole frame thingy that is supposed to hold a canopy was a huge job to break down…
3:33pm But we still want to paint or replace the table out there… Will post a pic after we figure that out…
5:14pm Internet still out but the message at tech support now mentions something about their problems with Qwest Communications…
5:34pm After many tests with Handbrake i am very disappointed – the video quality is bad, the files huge.. Some cool features but the videos suck!
5:36pm (caveat – maybe there are settings i should change to make it work right (ive changed a bunch) but i cant google it…)
6:11pm So, Qwest cut ZiaNet off! WTF?! Where does that leave us?! http://tinyurl.com/a22q9f

12:21pm Grrrr, internet is out… It’s the isp (zianet) obviously having an outage – all their tech support lines are busy…
1:15pm Whoa! Zianet confirms ‘severe network difficulties’ across new mexico, arizona, idaho, utah, and colorado… No repair time estimate 🙁
1:16pm Just breathe, christopher…
2:06pm Hooked mom up with some video podcasts on her psp (news and stuff) and she is watching them now and is just delighted 🙂
4:26pm Im really diggin’ that new conversion software i got – its really fast and does a good job, but it is a little lacking in advanced settings
4:28pm But the best thing is that it will convert anything! And the interface is dumb-proof – for simplicity, i dont think ive seen better…
4:34pm The way i do dvd-to-psp is rip the dvd, convert vob to avi, then avi to mp4 – that’s 3 separate progs, but FormatFactory is all-in-one…
5:24pm Staring at that red light on my router… Wishing it was green…
5:28pm My holy grail would be a prog that would make a file with psp-compatible multiple audio streams so movies could have commentaries, etc….
6:05pm Trying Handbrake for dvd-to-psp – ive had it a long time and dont remember why i didnt like it.. It, uh, does seem to support multi-audio..
6:38pm UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Handbrake made a dvd rip and the final vid has two audio tracks – the soundtrack, hit a button, and it’s the commentary!
6:40pm And the conversion took like 20 minutes!! And i have had this prog for months!!
10:31pm It may be the fastest loyalty turnaround in my life ever, but Handbrake is incredible!!! For dvd-to-psp ripping, anyway…
10:59pm All day and no internet makes christopher something something…
11:03pm @livin4hymn HA! So glad someone got the reference! 🙂 you da’ man and don’t let anyone ever tell ya’ different 😛

1:14am Watching the Dr. Horrible dvd with mom and terra, starting with the ELE submission videos… Um, these suck! (except the first one…)
1:49am Dayim! The compression on the Dr. H dvd is awful! (erm, horrible?) or maybe it is the source material? I was expecting crystal clear 🙁
3:08am The making-of featurette is great…
