Today’s moka pot experiment, fine ground, pre-heated (almost boiling) water. This burnt rubber taste cannot be my imagination. The gasket?

Talk about crowdsourcing: a group of Stars Wars fans is trying to make an entire movie out of fan-generated versions of Star Wars scenes.
Day 2 of experiments with cheap moka pot. This time, water from steam wand and my usual espresso grind. Still don’t much care for it.
(Yesterday was boiling water with fine but coarser than my usual espresso grind. Not yummy. Hoping this is breaking in/seasoning phase.)
Forgot to say, moka pot experiment day 1 was 25g of coffee, today was about 22g. Don’t want to cram it in there.

’twas a good slumber party night – Ben & Jerry’s and episodes of Tales From The Darkside in our newly improved candlelit sitting room 🙂
In Cruces at Starbucks and witnessed this – customer looking at menu:"So, what is espresso?" Barista:"Coffee with more caffeine." me:"O.O"
WTF? 70, the road back to Alamogordo (from Las Cruces), is CLOSED??? Could someone make a suggestion? or explanation? Some kind of info?
Must be the movie shooting. Asked a cop, he pointed out a detour. Whew! -

Major phone issues the last couple days – sure hope it’s just part of the big Alltel to Verizon switch, which is final tomorrow.
Trying to teach Wesley (almost 4) how to play Little Big Planet on PS3 🙂 he’s never played a video game before.
Sitting here, playing flOw wireless multiplayer on our PSPs – @nurseterra AND WESLEY!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 he’s a natural!
