Lifestream for July 5th
@AZARUE ahhh, a kindred spirit! How nice 🙂
I posted to my blog: a tour of my desktop http://bit.ly/PLiZN
Just watched Return To Me with @nurseterra – one of her faves, i’ve never seen it – i really liked it…
Ah great – there went the lights…
Funnily (is that a word??) enough, i said to terra "hm, i think i’ll shut the computer down", got two steps, and out went the power…
Hey alamogordo/tularosa/whatever area twitterers, what’s your power on or off situation out there?
Btw @thorobredz is about 15 miles from tulie, trying to get here and the road is impassable, he is trying to decide capitan or back to 25…
(it sucks that so many people these days mainly use twitter on their computer, so if the power IS out for them, so is twitter!)
@livin4hymn got a storm of biblical proportions that didn’t last long – already clear patches of sky…
Power just came on after an hour and 7 mins…
If only pnm had a twitter account…
RT: @Thorobredz: Looks like goin through Ruidoso is my best bet. Say a prayer for me
@drivers99 must be nice for you 😛 i’m a little south of IW, a little east of Florida – maybe it’s a fragile power area 😛
@drivers99 he was coming from ‘zozo back here to alamo…
@drivers99 yup, he was about 15 miles north of tularosa…
Hey, i just passed 2,500 tweets, btw 🙂 -
Lifestream for July 4th
would you believe i flickr’d a screenshot of my desktop, with full details of what makes it so awesome? 😛 http://tinyurl.com/ngfjab
Posted @jesusfreakgeek ha! thanks!
Flickr just added Flickr2Twitter, with their own flic.kr url shortening service no less – SWEET! Now no regrets abandoning zannel & twitpic
(though i do regret having countless pics/vids on zannel (and no small amount of pics in twitpic before that), locked in there forever…)
Posted @jesusfreakgeek thx! -

Making caramel macchiatos (at 8pm!?!) for @nurseterra and i – the american recipe for her, italian recipe for me 🙂
btw, the way WE make a caramel macchiato is not quite as americanized as say starbucks – ours is about half as sweet, less milk (about 1:3)
(an italian macchiato is just a shot of espresso, with a little "mark" of milk froth (macchiato = italian for "marked"), caramel drizzle)
It’s possible some individuals can detect such differences, but I’m skeptical, especially when their claims are not backed up by blind taste tests. More practically, from a reviewer’s viewpoint, I assert that the validity of their claim is irrelevant if only a minority of highly skilled baristas can reproduce it.
this thread leaves me feeling justified using more force in my tamp in my 51mm diameter filter basket than the accepted standard… –cc
@eqdj i hate horror movies but love that one – i enjoy showing it to people their first time and only telling them it is about caving 😉
#followfriday? Nah.. but here are people i really should reply to more often: @drivers99 @1prdpgn @racquelmorris @jaeckle @eqdj @livin4hymn

"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" is a horrible experience of unbearable length, briefly punctuated by three or four amusing moments. One of these involves a dog-like robot humping the leg of the heroine. Such are the meager joys. If you want to save yourself the ticket price, go into the kitchen, cue up a male choir singing the music of hell, and get a kid to start banging pots and pans together. Then close your eyes and use your imagination.
man, i haven’t put any photography online in forever, but here’s an all-time fave: christine by the pool http://tinyurl.com/mc4ay5
